💁🏼‍♀️ I firmly believe that an EU striving to be more competitive and more secure can succeed only if it maintains a stable, functional, and trustworthy democratic system.

🔎 We will look at the reasons behind the weakening of liberal democracy and public trust, and explore ways to innovate our democratic systems — including developing a European model of “tech-democracy.” 💻🏛️

I’ve been entrusted with leading a new project to support #democracy in the EU. ✨

⚖️🤝 Together with a broad group of experts, politicians, leaders from business, science, the arts, civil society, & supported by a coalition of democracy organisations, we will map the current state of democracy in 🇪🇺.

I welcome the @eucourtofjustice.bsky.social’s ruling on restrictions affecting media operations and freedom of speech in #Hungary. 👨‍⚖️🇭🇺

This binding decision sends a clear warning to all EU member states. 🇪🇺‼️

🇦🇺📵 V Austrálii platí zákaz pro mladé pod 16 let mít účet na velkých platformách.

Platformy dostanou pokutu, pokud si neověří věk a pustí je dovnitř. Je to tvrdé opatření, v Evropě 🇪🇺 jsme k tomu odvahu nenašli.

Svoboda slova, nezávislá média, ústava, svobodné volby, soudržnost, EU a NATO…

Po tom všem jsme v roce 1989 toužili. Dnes to všechno máme, pojďme si to chránit. ✌🏼🇨🇿

The conference in 🇧🇪 was a great source of inspiration & an opportunity to present @charlesuni.cuni.cz as a place where research security is taken seriously by experts. 🔐

🇨🇿 🎉 Měla jsem tu čest být na oslavě Dne vzniku samostatného československého státu v Pražském domě v Bruselu.

Bylo krásné znovu slavit s bruselskými Čechy, i když už k nim tak úplně nepatřím.

Bylo mi ctí převzít Cenu města Třebíče 🎖️💐 za mé zásluhy. Velká radost pro mě, moji dceru i syna. Jsme všichni hrdí Třebíčáci.
