One year ago today, Trump's second inauguration day, the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law launched our Climate Backtracker to track his actions in moving backwards on climate action. As of today it has exactly 300 items. That's 1.15 for every working day.

Actions Archive - Silencing Science Tracker The Silencing Science Tracker tracks government attempts to restrict or prohibit scientific research, education or discussion, or the publication or use of scientific information, since the November 2016 election.

In no sane world should. it be necessary to revive the "silencing Science Tracker." But here we are, and I'm grateful that the @sabincenter.bsky.social and @csldf.org are doing this important work. silencingscience.org

This is a joint project with @csldf.org & our partners at @sabincenter.bsky.social, with whom we originally launched the Tracker in response to the first Trump administration. 8 years later, this database is even more critical as the second Trump administration continues its war on science.
