She takes her spare knives out of her boots before taking off her boots, setting them aside and taking a breath, waiting for Dixie to get ready

✒️: She taps the metal piece on her shoulder and takes off her wings, setting her knives aside and looking at her

✒️: She sees her wake up and moves out the window, floating up to the roof, leaving a trail of shadows.

She had tried to organize her desk while she was there, but it's clear she didn't know what she was doing...

✒️: Coupé sets her paperwork down and flips her knife a bit. If people would actually kill for this job, they'd have to get through her first.

She turns off the light and then goes back to the open window, sitting there and keeping an eye on her

✒️: She wasn't stalking again... but she was on a call nearby and stopped by after she was done. She might've broken in through a window...

She sits by her desk and looks at her paperwork, wondering why she wants to do all of it

✒️: "I'll send them your way... maybe with a few extra knives in their vital organs."

. . . Who said that? They're gonna make Coupé act all emo again-

✒️: "Hmm... I'll try that strategy next time. Thank you."

She smiles to her and nods a bit

✒️: As she's holding the guy over the edge of a building, she looks at him... confused

"Bad choice of words there... also who are you and why are you interfering with SDN business?"

✒️: Coupé is covered in blood... after flying through a kaiju and dropping it in the ocean, it's to be expected.

She stretches and cracks her back a bit before putting all her knives in her locker

✒️: Seems like Coupé isn't gonna be back for a while... must've gotten called out on a mission.

The book is extremely erotic, but is also extremely graphic in other ways. The book ends with the vampire and her lover, with a stake piercing both their hearts. Pretty clear why Coupé liked this book

✒️: It's a book called 'Blood of Love and Lust' and it's a sapphic vampire smut romance book whose author line has been scratched out by Coupé's knives, and the author photo is also cut out of the book

"Don't bother returning it, I already finished it."

✒️: She squints at her and grabs a different book, tossing it at her and putting her bag on her shoulder

"I'd like to see you try that."

She flexes her wings before walking away from her
