It’s been a sad week. Here are some extraordinary sculptures by Ruth Asawa at MOMA. She was imprisoned as a girl in a US detention camp for people of Japanese heritage during WW2. The beauty of her work is a reminder that things can change after politically violent times and sends a message of hope.
Looking forward to a future where we could have respectable and intelligent leaders who lead with kindness and do the right thing for us the people so that we can stop swearing. Until then….

My kids got to stay on our insurance until they were 26. My son had a serious surgery paid for. Then they both got insurance through the ACA after they aged out. What the republicans are doing to this system is horrible. It has its flaws but let’s move on to Medicare for all.
