Apparently I woke up and decided to spend all day making this. I am kinda into making stickers it seems.

Might make some stickers as gifts for anyone that visits my 'Falconeer station' at #CourageXL next week. But still unsure if this is the one.. Might ditch the bottom text.

Yes in the back next to the dog covered on beach towels.. all our stuff was in the roof box..

Typical dutch holiday car. Stuffed to the brim. 3 kids, 2 adults, towels, flea marker finds, 1 dog (no fleas) and...... A bicycle.:)

This one is new. They are saying 120 firefighters on this one. Its like 5km from our house.

We are in the south of france, still a few hours from the aude main fire. But we got a fire fighting chopper buzzing back and forth every 3 minutes now.

I think he even tried to fill up on the nearby river itself we could hear loud alarm sirens through the trees..

No strangely it's a lot of the same folks over and over again.. I had hoped following more starter packs would mix things up but it remains very narrow and within a closer circle..

It's a bit weird.

Another cycling trip, up the hills this time to Chartreuse de Valbonne. A monastery in the middle ages, a sanatorium for lepracy in the early 20th century and a POW camp for german soldiers after WW2. Who were put to work restoring the charterhouse.

Yes I have this too. It seems to serve up the same people. And going 'micro viral' means seeing all these folks liking something, that you know , but have not seen on your timeline in ages..

It's nice and I will never go back to the X/twitter. Could just be FOMO or my slow crawl towards abandoning social media.

As someone said to me recently, 'social media? Just another distraction'.

So does bluesky hold the potential for a skeet to go viral? Cuz it feels like it doesn't and everything stays within your circle that you build using starterpacks ??.

I am going to have to trademark "AI-gen is a mediocrity trap".

Using it prevents you from reaching mastery cuz you aren't exercising deep skills.

If you are a master you might lose those skills cuz you outsourced too much.

Either way the end result is a hyper efficient mediocrity trap.

Not mine either. I think.. not sure. I spew forth much ranting.

If something is objectively essential it wont require pleading to use it..

I think even more clear is that audiences also show a anti ai backlash.

Not at every level, but for those seeking meaningful experiences are clearly not into ai content.

I am not skeptical enough to say AGI won't come. If it does then all bets are off. But if it doesn't and knowledge does not equal intelligence and creativity then the current generation of master creatives are safer than most. Even though it appears the opposite at first glance.

In the longer term the shortage of master level skilled (digital) creators will become a problem. Cuz the work environment in which these are cradled will have ceased to exist.

So keeping your skills sharp and non AI dependent is actuallt going to be a survival path..

Indeed and mediocrity is fine in the short term.. But they will turn around when the drawbacks manifest and try to hire the highly skilled. Only to find out there wont be enough, cuz they havent provided/trained for them.
