Finished up the infinite climb this morning after getting within a game yesterday. Actually fell to 97 before rebounding and punching through. Played this Merlin deck in the 90s I saw KMBest talk about.

The fact that they started getting feedback immediately after HVO released about this and still took the full rest of the week to formulate this respond is insulting and doesn't address the concern about game price at all.

So that's where we are. I don't know what to think beyond we don't matter.

It's this issue as well as the lack of communication to their change in philosophy (which they admitted in the response) that has me so upset. The fact that they did not feel the need to say something before hand suggests they were hoping we either wouldn't notice or care.

I like the expanded reward shops in these modes and agree that not everyone cares about the new card(s) and they now have options.

For me I would want the new card(s) and would expect all of my currency would go to cards that at the expense of anything else. Not all my limited currency + gold.

Since then, SD has started releasing a lot more cards each month (and now even a new card in the expensive season pass next month if datamines are true). So the cost of the game has gone up considerably and now the limited game mode won't help offset it even slightly.

Thread: My expectation is not to get every new card immediately. I don't have a full collection and am fine picking & choosing. It was my understanding that earning a new card in a limited mode was a way to address community concerns about game price - which the community loved #MarvelSnap

Yeah. They said it's working as intended. Getting a new card via a limited time game mode - to help address the concern about the price of the game - will be an exception rather than the rule. So the game got a lot more expensive. And they thought they could do that without saying anything... So mad

Pitiful response. A slap in the face to anyone/everyone who thinks their pricing is out of line. I haven't played the mode since day 2 & won't with this response. If this is how they plan to handle limited time modes, then it's time to consider moving on. They don't respect us. #MarvelSnap

I was playing the 16 card version and got to 14 and then it seemed to reset back to 0. Was thinking it might have been because I didn't play a charged card during the game before reset. Regardless the reason... It sucked starting over.

I've been purposely overlooking the things I find troubling about #MarvelSnap, but the prices on the new cards for Overdrive is just too much for me to overlook. I know they won't care if I stop playing because I haven't bought more than the season pass since January but I feel I should do something

Solid, if slow, #MarvelSnap climb from 75 to 87. Now the last 3 days have seen me gain and lose the same dozen cubes over about 4-5 hours of game time. Here we go again....

Took a break after yesterday, came back this morning and saw that Surtur Starbrand was doing well in the hot location. Bought Starbrand and started playing... Right as the hot location ended, I hit infinite. What a wave of joy and relief. Thanks to everyone who was rooting for me! #MarvelSnap

Currently 97 (yet again) and contemplating what now.

Played 3 hours this morning, got to 1 cube from infinite then fell to 97. 4 cubes in another attempt and fell back to 97. Was 8 cubes from infinite against a bot that wouldn't snap. I think this climb has finally broken me. I'm laughing hysterically and wanting to scream. #MarvelSnap

Took me about 7 hours of play this week to get from 87 to 90. Played today after a break and started well with Goliath Thanos getting to 97 but then stalled. Playing an inflict deck tonight I got within 2 cubes of infinite before falling back to 97. This is really rough... /sigh #MarvelSnap

The struggle is real this month in #MarvelSnap. Currently 87 - my high this season. Losing games I feel fairly confident in has killed my confidence & the losses just pile up. Trying a bunch of decks & counters to the meta but no luck. Feels like I won't be infinite since before Guardians 3 season.

BTW - This is the first time I've entered top 1k and my highest ever ranking at any point in a season.

Crazy season. Bounced from 85 back to 82 since Friday. Was watching @snapjudgeglazer.bsky.social on Twitch play a surfer deck yesterday & switched. Went from 84-100 today in a couple hours. Started on mobile, but attached are stats when I went to desktop. Would recommend list. #MarvelSnap

My recap from the new event. In total I got 4 new cards (3 for event and Redwing) Wong Variant, 1 glyph border, 4200 credits and 323 boosters for Cerebro when the event ended.

Finished the climb to infinite playing Hela as I started having trouble with Agamotto mirrors. Went 83-94 with KMBest's highlighted Agamotto deck with King Eitri. Went 94-100 with the new version of Hela with Skaar and Adam Warlock. #MarvelSnap

Awesome work! I'm at 97 and recently switched to Hela because I couldn't win the Agamotto mirror.

Finished the climb in the new game mode at lunch. Saving the drops charms until the final 1600 charm grind made it feel so much better. Now to figure out what to spend the near 5k charms on (already got the 3 new cards). #MarvelSnap

Character Mastery has killed the joy I got from splitting my cards in #MarvelSnap. So many splits this month & only 2 gold/ink. Even cards w/1k boosters couldn't get 1. So I'm now holding 5+ splits hoping something changes. Haven't felt like this since last summers changes. @marvelsnap.bsky.social

Later than usual infinite as I had family in town for several days. Played lots of Iron Patriot and V. Hand to 94. Ajax to 97 and AV Havok /iPatriot tech deck post OTA to finish the climb. #MarvelSnap
