Being poor is lonely. Society doesn't really allow people to exist without spending money, so you can't do things, you can't buy the little "just thought of you" gifts, can't decide to visit even nearby loved ones. Sucks that capitalism manages to even steal people from each other

During COVID those of us on EBT (food stamps) got about $100 extra. I guess because we couldn't eat out? Pandemic ends, no more extra. Ok, but I'm on EBT, what makes you think I had an extra $100 a month to eat out on in the first place? If I needed it then, I promise I still do!
