Hey there #believeinfilm snappers. Who/which lab do you use for C41 processing in the UK? I’m never getting round to doing home development and about time I called time in expired chems and just paid a lab….

A photo taken from Hayley beach in Cornwall looking southwest towards St Ives in the distance. The photo is converted to black and white using Adobe Lightroom and then cooled so has a blue cast to it. In the photo on the right hand side is the lifeguard’s red/yellow flag. The photo has been taken with a iPhone and set to long exposure therefore making the sea and waves milky, and the red/yellow flag blowing in the wind is also slightly blurred.

Two weeks away from social media while on holiday in Cornwall with the family. Between building sandcastles and learning to 🏄‍♂️ surf, only film used was instax. I did get a few minutes to exercise the iPhone though and converted to ‘longexposure’ this is looking across to St Ives from Hayle #cornwall

Unbiased/unweighted news is difficult to find and even the formerly most trustworthy are questionable now, including the BBC who seem more incensed on keeping the govt. happy rather than the truth. I do t want to ignore the news but I literally only read @bylinetimes.bsky.social once a month now.

As I get older and drink less, I’m thinking of selling a kidney for a treasured M6….not sure if I get more use of a kidney or an M6?….

Suggestions of completely random rubbish by ‘influencers’.

I deleted all but about 5 images from my accounts, and have never returned for about 5-6 years.

What ever happened to the ‘Mash’ adverts, the ‘Iron Bru’ adverts, and the ‘nescafé’ adverts? Some adverts used to be good! But it’s now like the people who understand the product have absolutely no input in to the medium and the ad’s are created by interns….

Just add ‘mediocre’ to your bio, and ask them if the still want to be friends? If they ‘both’ say no … 🤔

In fairness I’d been watching a couple over the last month, I just needed to stop dithering!

Nowt wrong with those! Been thinking of a 166U to play with, but they are a bit pricey for a toy camera, even if the results are pretty damn good! I usually get my toy camera fix from a Holga, can’t decide if I need to spend more £’s 🤔

After missing Lucca 🇮🇹 last year can’t wait for Chelmsford & yet-to-get tickets for Manchester.

It’s not done me much good! Previous dev was B&W but my chemicals had been open for the best part of two years, and it spoiled two films. Then this, but was with brand new colour chems. Knocked my already waning confidence. Have only deved B&W since, and then only 4 35mm films.

3 rolls of developed 35mm film which had been through the CT scanner at Manchester Airport, UK. The film strips have developed blank. There is a small chance this is developer error, but unlikely.

This was my result from Manchester in April 2024! I never got them hand checked. Frustratingly there was a young Asian/Japanese couple behind my wife and I who caused a commotion getting theirs hand checked. Well I say they did, I mean the security people caused the commotion. It can’t be that hard.

That would be so much easier than splitting the canister open in a changing bag. It would also be much easier if I used a canister opener instead of using the scissors to force the canister open! I always use the correct tools for the job in DIY, don’t know why I can’t spend £20 for this! <googles>

Thanks! I’m not familiar with that area at all. In fact my only trip on to the Wirral peninsula (other than railway stations) was to buy a car when I was 17 from Wallasey! I’d like to make time to get out there….looks like i’ll have to be quick!

I’m sure I heard a podcast saying that you would not be getting a GRIII! I have a GRII but not sure I have ever really got in to it. The app is also very flaky, so getting images to phone is a right chore without using the Apple SD card reader cable. I like it [GRII], but could never recommend it!
