Still have an X-T3 (only lens is XF100-400) and the original X100, can't give them all up.....................

Interesting, it is difficult to move on from Fujifilm, the tactile feel and handling along with decent optics always have drawn me in (and back in!). After a flirtation with a GFX, I eventually went to the Leica world, not cheap but very satisfying. I hope the SOny works out for you.

If the price gap is large between any new Q Monochrom and the current used price of Q2 Monochroms then I don’t think there will be too much movement in the Q2 price, and initial slight dip (upgraders), then a hardening

Well it will be interesting toi see how the AF is handled, and you can be guaranteed that if it does get launched it will be the first Q series to break the £6K barrier!!!

Yes but it’s a Contrast Only Detect auto focus sensor - not phase detect - Contrast Detect is a bit slower but can be very accurate - Phase Detect is faster but relies on colour information

I think this is unlikely, the sensor in the Q3 and it’s associated processor uses phase detection for the AF which relies on the colour filter array. For AF on a monochrom sensor you need contrast detection. The M11M has the same sensor without the colour array but has manual focus only
