I’m incredibly grateful to be her godparent with him, I’m immensely proud of her mam who has had to try her best while dealing with the loss of her brother. This little baby is crazy, funny and the sweetest. And still recognises him. I love her so, so much. Happy 1st Bday my sweet 🩷✨

Anyway, it’s my goddaughters 1st birthday and I am so emotional. Two months ago, my cousin (who is also her uncle/godfather) passed suddenly. I’m struggling with it. I miss him and not having him here to celebrate her feels incredibly strange. He should be here, he loved her with everything-

Their personal lives will never be our business, even the bits they share. We are not apart of that. Why do people care if they are dating or not? It’s not a ‘betrayal’. And it doesn’t matter whether they respond with a yes or no, horrible people will hate their answer either way. Do better guys.

Exactly this! They have just came out of military service too and must be exhausted, we are incredibly lucky to know that they decided to start making music again so soon. They deserve a HUGE break but they went and made music. People are ungrateful.. it must be so tiring to have to see all that

Namgi art - namgi share a kiss, Yoongi's nose forming a little dent in Namjoon's cheek, and Namjoon's dimple showing due to the kiss. Both wear a red cloak that merges into one another to give the impression of 'belonging'. There is a patchwork star-shape pattern running in one strip down both of them, coloured in tones of dusty yellow to dark red. The same pattern forms the background in greens and blues. Their faces are white with a watercolour-like stain of pink in the places of the face that have more warmth (cheeks and ears), as well as shading on the neck. Both have dark hair that verges closer to grey-blue. This piece came from my sketchbook. I took a photo and then went over elements of it in Procreate to render it more. This came about through just playing around, so it is not my typical style of art. It is a little strange and weird, but I like how vibrant the red is and the play of the pattern alongside the solid forms of the cloaks. It took a while to figure out how to render namgi's faces and hair in this, but finally I decided a black outline would lean into more of the graphic style. In the back of my mind, I was thinking about how Namjoon and Yoongi's lyrics call back to each other, and how they are so often two sides of the same coin. I also wanted to bring in the feeling of 'oneness' with your lover. They rise as one form before separating, but they form together again through the kiss.

I finished all my work for this year, It feels weird to have no more deadlines. I’m grateful to have been apart of zines that I was terrified to join for years!
