This is definitely something you can hold your head up high about. This comic stayed true to its heart and true to its characters throughout, and feels true and real with how messy, imperfect, and *human* its characters are. Few things can lay claim to that after thousands of pages. Well done.
Even fewer can say they published something *good* for twelve years.
The Federal Reserve is not Trump. To the point that it has annoyed the absolute piss out of Trump that he can't exert more control over them. Refusing to participate in government at all just means passing all control over to the administration and leaving them free reign.
This is just a take lacking nuance. This is what free speech has always been about, my dude. It's still important to protect it even if shitheads also benefit from it. You don't gain anything by giving your own power away.
This is highly important for Americans. The Fed is highly independent and has teeth. This isn't just about art, either, but speech in general. Please comment if you can, and leave your information on your comment if you're willing. They are likely to listen if enough public support shows itself.
Kera and her husband train together to stay sharp. Sometimes they compete.
She knows what she signed up for.

Seconding that this is an extremely good guess based on the symptoms.

Tagging onemienix is funny, given they're garbage in their own right due to being a scammer.
I see they're currently open for comms, so a heads-up that @/onemienix.bsky.social is a scammer who took my commission and then blocked me. Do not do business with them.
‼️Final Statement Regarding EvulArt‼️
I originally did not intend to make this public but recent events have made that impossible. This is no longer "internet drama", it's harassment and retaliation.

I know that all sounds super depressing, and unfortunately, I don't have any silver lining that I can point to. Aggressive criminal organizations have been dismantled before from states, but the bloodshed that happens as those organizations die is horrific. It'll get worse before it gets better.
Once an organization has accrued that much capital, that many participants, and that much real power, if you start chipping away at one pillar, they'll just slam down another. Just like the mafia in the US was at one time, they're already involved in many industries at multiple levels.
The horrifying reality is that at this point, even if the US were able to start addressing drugs as a public health crisis (which we're already on the verge of being a failed state anyways, so fat chance), the cartels are so deeply entrenched and so powerful that the drugs barely matter.
If you're still looking, Kdenlive is probably the best FOSS option. It's a pretty heavy-duty program, but doing some simple trimming and splicing is very easy in it.
Which is all, ultimately, to say that your contribution and vision are still worthwhile and valuable. You shouldn't feel disheartened by Konami finally deciding that the CV IP has value; if anything, it proves chasing that vision can lead to an audience who's still there for it.
Either way, the two sides of Bloodstained between Ritual of the Night and the Circle of the Moon titles shows there's room for more than one style to exist out there, and there's room for the new CV. It's just not a space that I'm feeling enthusiastic or passionate about.
I would argue it landed much closer aesthetically to the original games than what this new one is doing. It's a fair point on the gameplay, but the timeframe changes the context a lot. CV was changing to keep up with the times, but Bloodstained makes the point that SotN *remains* with the times.
Whatever that is, it's not Castlevania in anything but a title. Dead Cells was fine, but it's not Castlevania, and it's clear that whatever Motion Twin & Evil Empire is developing is in line with what they already know and do. There's plenty of room for other projects out there.
Sent you a message! :>
I don't even like Smash. But it's incontrovertible that it's the most popular fighting game by leaps and bounds. The Nintendo name does some lifting, but it's clearly not the only reason or people would've actually played Arms. The dismissiveness around Smash is ridiculous.
The only way that anyone is ever going to get a 1v1 competitive fighter into the limelight, if it is possible at all, is by going back to the drawing board and really rethinking what makes it fun to more players. The Cannons weren't the guys for that job and Riot isn't the company to do it.
The genre, at the end of the day, is inaccessible because it's still holding on to a lot of dogma that exists since Nishitani and his boys created it in 1991 with Street Fighter 2. Somebody should've realized that Smash in the most popular game by leaps *because* it's different.
Riot really just thought they were going to come in and dominate, that the problem with the genre is that it hasn't been exposed in the right way. The reality is, nobody at all wanted to play what was more or less just a Marvel game, but with League characters.
