i havent posted on here in ages but ive been doing lots of shiny hunting and collaging in the meantime, im making my way through my gen 7 shiny dex rn, the dynamax adventures are a nightmare but ive already got tapu lele so its not too bad

my shiny haul for #PokemonGOFest2025! its more than ive ever got in one of these cause i played my lil heart out despite the heat and flying ants, very happy!! particularly proud of flabébé, oranguru, passimian and pikachu! wish i got skiddo/pachirisu/torkoal/frigibax but thats okay!

took me two failed trubbish sos chains to realise that both of the initial ones that i encountered have sticky hold so it wouldn't let me give them a leppa berry at the start, so they eventually struggled 😭

i can really get shinies when i lock in, 14 targets today inbetween xy, sm and usum

as i mentioned, my sinnoh #ShinyLivingDex is complete! all 107 sinnoh pokemon caught as shiny, had some very over odds hunts with this gen but cant complain too much as arceus gave me a quick hunt. as is tradition, here are my collages! on to unova!

i was super worried about this going over odds, cause it is a VERY slow hunt, i did about 500-ish encounters before speedrunning shining pearl on a profile that could get the azure flute just to speed up the process, and that was the game that got the shiny! switch 1/4096 SRs is something else

i finally locked in and setup for a shiny arceus hunt to finish off my generation 4 shiny dex and after 803 encounters, i found the god of pokemon in their shiny form!!! ive been neglecting phione, shaymin, shieldon, bastiodon and arceus for a while now but its finally done!! #Pokemon #ShinyPokemon

next up on max's struggle for the final few gen 4 shinies - shaymin encounters in bdsp are slowwwww, i wish i had two setup so i can multihunt it cause damn 2.5k in 26 hours?? please shaymin you're so cute let this be over soon

finally, after 1922 masuda method eggs, i got my shiny cherubi. there is no good reason why this took so long. welp, only shieldon, bastiodon, shaymin and arceus remain for my gen 4 shiny dex #ShinyPokemon #Pokemon

normally i consume pokemon leaks like crazy when a new game is coming up, but i think i'm going to try and avoid plza leaks this year, as long as i know whether or not theres a shiny indicator in the overworld, i dont need anything else

been a while!! still going with my sinnoh shiny dex, mostly just mythicals and legends left now! very shocked when primal dialga showed up, i didn't realise i had a shiny mod on soi was baffled getting this 😭

so im currently at a rate of 1 shiny per badge on my pokemon emerald legacy professor oak challenge, im shocked at this luck, truly lost for words.

My pre-badge 1 save screen before fighting Roxanne. 49 Pokémon in 35 hours 57 minutes.

on the topic of emerald legacy, ive managed to get two 1/8192 shinies already and im only just on section 2!!! got skitty in pb1 which i finished earlier today, and soon after i got horsea! i'm planning on sending all of my legacy poc pokemon to home but these'll be my priority

i started crystal but gave up quickly seeing how insanely grindy section 1 of that is. larvitar is a rare encounter in dark cave, and you need to level up on such weak pokemon its just not worth it.

whilst im doing a professor oak's challenge of pokemon emerald legacy, i thought i should post on here the one i just finished; yellow legacy! genuinely wasnt too difficult, and actually a pretty fun challenge that wasnt insanely grindy! my only nitpick is you cant get shinies

ive been so excited for this!! i know your guides for stuff like this are usually much more helpful for me so im gonna set this up in the new year as i get closer and closer to finishing my shiny sinnoh living dex

tbh this is more a post about cosplay pikachu 😅 but like they're in everything else, why not bring them back into the main series? i think the more pikachu forms the merrier tbh, even if only the base form is added to home

i think one of my hopes for legends za is that it brings in a couple missing forms from the switch, namely pikachu's cosplay forms; they're very fitting with being from gen 6, they clearly fit the culture of kalos so like please :D also eternal floette which i hope is guaranteed

oh boy genesect is coming back to raids so guess i have another go hunt i need to do for my living dex sighhhhh
