Thats horrible im so so sorry 😭 my wife gets too scared to let me tough it out and calls the ambulance when i start passing out from it. My episodes are so violent it sounds scarier than i feel like it is. Mine started i think when i was in my teens- i did have “the stomach flu” very often as a kid

I usually have to be hospitalized because i get too dehydrated and tear my esophagus. Its happened more times than i can count but the last episode was in march so i am technically “due” for one soon and im not looking forward to it

Yeah :/ i just discovered what it was when i was dx w it last yr but ive been struggling w it for like 7 years now. My episodes luckily are sporadic and only happen every few months at most but holy shit when it does happen its scary asf :( mostly for the ppl around me bc i get so foggy
