For those who aren’t aware of what’s at stake take a careful look
Jonathan!!!
I’m seeing this in closed *health* provider groups on social media 💔
She could be an awful person or a staff person who has bills to pay. I initially Googled her and thought bad thoughts too. I just think we’d all be better off now by not jumping to conclusions about her and going after the higher up’s who are the root cause
What did I say?
My guess is the person who signed did not write that letter or make that decision…I would not have signed it but I also know that’s privilege speaking
Do you know how marching orders flow at NIH?
*think
This termination letter sucked but I don’t this staff member signee should be thrown under the bus without more context
Thank you Senator Murray for all your work in helping to preserve US science. I’ve been following you since the 8th grade 🙌🏽🙌🏽
It’s fascinating how each institute is operating differently. I shared an NIDCR study section last week. From my vantage point there were no hiccups.
❤️❤️❤️
Looking forward to it! 🙌🏽
Happy to report that we traded in 1/2 Teslas on Friday. The second gets dumped when its lease ends in 2y.

Great points Carl. Always ❤️ learning from you. I think it’s worth noting (1) federal policies are what create the need for such high F&A and (2) universities need to think about ways to trim fat. A blanket overnight 15% approach is not the solution
I assume a 15% F&A will also mean less federal reporting and red tape?

NIH is now allowing meetings with extramural investigators that can involve more than 1 non-NIH entity
It’s amazing how much energy is being expended to preserve critical scientific activities that we had all taken for granted through 1/19/25
👊🏽 let’s keep moving forward #NIH
✅ NIH study section reviewer orientation meeting is scheduled and confirmed for later today
❌ Meetings with NIH POs involving >2 persons not allowed (one on one meetings are ok)
As a Korean American parent and dentist, I’ve got to check it out! 👍🏽
Bam!
