Trying something new. I’ve been writing a short story for an anthology and I’m scrapping it completely. Creativity is dry in this area, so I’m writing without any kind of plan whatsoever. Even more than pantsing. I know nothing.

So true!! I also find that I’m more productive if I step away from writing to do all the little things that have been in the back of my mind. I’m able to better dedicate brain power and creativity.

This comes down to my why. If the why is super important then I’m going to do my absolute best to meet it and rearrange elsewhere. If it’s part of a learning curve, then I’ll adjust and know for the future how to schedule better.

I’m 7500 words into my third book, and coming off 95,000 it feels like nothing. 😄 This also feels like the most I’ve plotted a book before. Maybe that means I can get words onto the page faster over the next week. One can hope.
