Lovely pattern. It looks much sunnier with you than up here
For the Disability community, losing Alice Wong is like losing Ursula Le Guin or Octavia Butler. She was a powerhouse, a pioneer, and a mentor to many. She taught me so much. And always reminded me what we were fighting towards, as well as against. I miss her clarity, bravery, and joy.

I've signed this open letter. #CofEpeeps, lay or ordained, if you want the church to become more fully affirming of LGBTQ+ folks, please read this letter from Inclusive Church and consider signing it.

The single biggest thing that would improve my life as a wheelchair user who can't drive would be a reliable, regular, and reasonably priced public transport system. If it were actually properly accessible that would also be nice.
Disability flare resting companions
If you like bookish things and have access to a child who needs entertaining in half-term you could do worse than bring them to the @rcpmuseum.bsky.social for some #RareBooks -inspired folding, cutting, colouring and sticking next week.
Yes, thanks. Somewhat depleted due to the wind. How was yours
And also with you 💜
Meet our new cat, Daphne. Hopefully eventually a friend for Cassie
Since I don't know for sure that @girlinthe.bsky.social has seen this, it is necessary to repost. I think @wobblygoose.bsky.social would also appreciate it.
Very cool illustration. Many weird elephants 💜
It's a really cool idea. I'd love to hear people's memories
The buff-tip moth (Phalera bucephala) has mastered a very particular kind of camouflage.
When they close their wings up, they resemble a broken twig.
Native to large parts of Europe, there's regional pattern variation that reflects the local tree species. This one best resembles birch twigs?
That looks great
My "Heck, is this project even going to work????" nerves are starting to subside a little! I reckon we've sewn at least 2/3rds of the streets in the town, and I've got 29 memories/favourite places marked on the map and recorded in my little folder too. It's not quite a couple of metres square
New exhibition is alive. Here: history.rcp.ac.uk/exhibitions/... and in the physical real world @rcpmuseum.bsky.social.
There are books in it. More to follow when I've had the customary lie down in a darkened room.
Thanks James

Yes, more people could potentially work with the right job, the right employer, and the right adjustments/support.
But many still won't be able to. This is just a fact.
And actually it's cruel to have someone work, if it would mean they don't have any capacity left to live.
Hello! I wonder if monstrous rooster needs a place in the rooster collection at college, or if they already have one?
