Pheasant mugs
Just fired the 103rd iteration of my soda kiln, and pulled these ewers out. Definitely more sculptural than functional, but I’m having lots of fun with this form, and the experimentation with my extruded.
Featured demonstrator @jrothshank.bsky.social will be firing his soda kiln during our Spring Surfaces Workshop, offering participants the opportunity to engage with this unique process. Justin will provide access to some of his favorite low-fire glazes and decorating tools.
