To all the fathers watching over us from heaven, your love still guides us every day. We miss you more than words can say.

I see the media headlines are that Alex Pretti's death was ruled a homicide by the coroner.  Most of the media outlets are not explaining that this only means a person or persons caused the death of another, not that a crime was committed.  It is not death by accident, suicide, etc.

It snowed last night! It was a mix of snow and ice so we have some very grainy, graupel-like snow.

I love this big goofy lunkhead who looks up at me with the most adorable brown eyes after she has run directly into a closed door and wants a treat to feel better.

The tree that moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others, only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity,and by these, I shall not regulate my propositions. And some see no nature at all. But to man eye of imagination, nature is imagination itself.
