I never did use Backus Naur Form notation diagramming ever again. And I sincerely hope that unhappy professor and SSRIs crossed paths in the late 1980s.
My Pascal homework was saved to an 8" floppy disk. The Fortran class and another programming class used punched cards.
I remember the professor yelling at the Pascal class I was in because we weren't interacting with him. Louder yelling if you answered incorrectly. How not to motivate students. Happened 45 years ago and I still remember the experience.
Visit the High Desert Museum when you're South of Bend and stop by the Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint when you're North of Bend. Both are worth the stop.
