I will never understand the muse, but when a story flies by, you grab it with both hands—and then you suddenly find you're airborne and it's pulling you along!
One could wish these things came at a more convenient time, but after two years of writer's block (despite several attempts), I've finally got a novel plot that's ticking along like an express train, and is almost writing itself.
