I think I read this in Jason Stanley’s “How Propaganda Works” but, unlike in open authoritarian regimes which tends to be direct, “democratic” regimes tend to have inverted propaganda, where they do the opposite of what they say.

You can never know for sure, but deadly wildfires are now sadly common in CA. For instance, one my friends and I were evacuated from a camp site because it was too dry, and it literally burned down the next day.
Dry conditions can cause many fires to happen at once; my personal guess is natural.
To be clear, they’re setting this up to commit atrocities to trans and other queer folk, because they call them pedophiles. They’re not talking about Gaetz, who actually does this.
