So this happens to me nearly every single time I collab with someone. However.

Way more often than not, I get pleasantly surprised by what my partner creates and wind up going with their last 10% with just a couple of small tweaks, if that. So I guess it's more a feature than a bug for me? x)

Exactly! A few years ago I gave up caring if that's what a person means. It's been great x3 I'm usually not self conscious about it unless I'm a specific kind of tired.

Oh yes please! Especially since if players aren't hooked by then, that's already something I'd know I'd need to work on!

I feel like I should have a warning label along the lines of: "Ask 'How are you?' and expect far more than 'I'm fine'."

Papa Newt is taking tomorrow off and MiniNewt doesn't have school, so this week has been a bit of a wash for game creation 😅

I really want to pursue this idea I got this morning for (a different) journaling game. And I have my notes for Quests of Clay quests. So not a complete wash!

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who is jumping at the chance to check out this game? 😁

So it looks like Papa Newt somehow caught something on top of whatever I had. I won't go into the details and just say he's taking a trip to urgent care today x.x

I think tomorrow I'll review what I have and see how they can work. It's not enough for a full adventure but might leave enough room for a sweet little quest maker maybe? I'll see how I can jiggle things together.

Hnng I had this idea to make a quest maker for Quests of Clay via roll tables like I did for Swords and Magic and Modern Skills, but it doesn't feel right and I've jotted down some fully formed quest blurbs and other things that I think I prefer, but I'm worried I'm getting too hyper-focused again?

So the good news is I'm feeling better! The bad news is MiniNewt was home sick yesterday and Papa Newt is home sick today x)

So I'm picking at some roll tables for one game and prompts for another. Things I can do on my phone while snuggling my sickie partner.

How about a friendly dual between two feathered frienemies, exploring different types of relationships with various monsters, or working through ambivalent emotions for people from your past?

Got hit hard with the flu or something yesterday. Doing better today but still with body aches and a fever x.x Going to try to take it easy and hope to be back up to par within the next few days.

Actually, it would be really easy to use Diversified for this o.o Just have the tools and gadgets use the Point Pool. Could use that for baddie powers, too.

And since Batman makes mistakes and has to learn from them like any good detective, the Experience system for it would work great, as well!
