I still can’t find regular value with the current free tier in Dia. However Arc continues to be my browser of choice and probably would pay to keep seeing that developed.

This is a few years too late. We're already moving on to MCP and agents.

I wonder if this will improve use of WisprFlow when using AirPods. Currently WisprFlow recommends not using AirPods and so I’ve been using a wired pair of EarBuds when dictating to WisprFlow.

Is this what the new Siri dictation is using on iOS 26? Whenever I voice dictate and say “Asana” the app (surprisingly often) Siri gives me “a sauna” while Whisper apps always get it right. Curious if this fixed with this new model in iOS 26.

@viticci.macstories.net did I hear correctly on the latest AppStories that dictation on iOS 26 that uses a local transcription model is better than Whisper? I've been using WisprFlow on iPhone and it’s been more accurate than dictation using iOS 18. So curious if it’s better on iOS 26.

I just hope the apps can keep up. Most of the apps I use: Slack, Superhuman, Asana, are still downgraded experiences on iPad.

It’s great to see Apple give the iPad some much overdue software love. The question is, will developers? It’s nice that I’ll be able to resize my Slack window on iPad, but will the app still function like a watered down version of the Mac app? Developers also need to recommit to iPadOS.
