A USDA employee told me that they were ordered to fire all probationary employees and to eliminate unfilled positions and to give poor performance as the reason for the terminations. This included new hires that did not have a performance plan yet in place. The rules I was told are that performance

I just finished (mostly listening to Chris Brown reading) the book. I liked it. It read more like a collection of short pieces in not-quite chronological order. Some of it I really like. Some I found tedious and aimless.

Many undocumented are paying into SS with others’ SS# and no assurance they will be able to get payout. They are helping SS.

The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s
