This is no different from Putin saying MH17 was shot down by Ukraine or Assad saying rebels gassed themselves.

An ominous black rabbit idles in the distance behind some tufts of grass as drops of blood lead to it.

Du'aine Ladejo, explaining to his grandkids: "No no, that was just my 'Gladiators' name. This isn't a news headline. No, I am *not* on a regis... what? I don't know why, I didn't choose it, they probably just thought it was a cool-sounding... yes, I know what 'hiding in plain sight' means. Listen -"

I actually don't have words as to how angry I am.

Wonder what happened in these countries that people on student visas in the UK found themselves needing to apply for asylum instead of going home post 2021.

UK Labour are heartless bastards & apparently have bo idea whats happening in the world.

Dooneen Check out Dooneen - <p>Bartholomew Port, known to all as Mew, steps into the bushes in a London park and steps out of the bushes in a Dublin one. Not only that – there are no cars; there are moving fo...

You can pre-order my debut novel Dooneen on @bookshop.org here. It's my sixth debut novel. Pre-orders, as I'm sure you know, are essential to the healthy continuance of society. If you don't pre-order right now, you're basically destroying everything beautiful.

Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.

Taiwan Travelogue has been the book I keep thinking about since I read it. It's about language, food, privilege and occupation.

Vatican News

No to homilies prepared with Artificial Intelligence The Pope therefore invited the priests to enter into real life and called for vigilance when confronted with artificial intelligence and internet use. He warned against "the temptation to prepare homilies with Artificial Intelligence".
"Like all the muscles in the body, if we do not use them, if we do not move them, they die.
The brain needs to be used, so our intelligence must also be exercised a little so as not to lose this capacity," he said.
Moreover, "to give a true homily is to share faith," and Al "will never be able to share faith," he insisted.
"If we can offer a service that is inculturated in the place, in the parish where we are working, people want to see your faith, your experience of having known and loved Christ."

The Hundred: IPL-linked teams 'not considering Pakistan players' Four sides in The Hundred with links to the IPL are not expected to sign players from Pakistan in next month's auction.

This is outrageous, and I would expect that anti-discrimination legislation should apply. The de facto ban on Pakistan players in the IPL is bad enough, but for it to be extended across the world can't be allowed.
