AOC: All in the name of Charlie Kirk, Trump and the FCC are now cynically threatening to shut down ABC and any outlets who give air time to the administration's political critics.

This is a disgusting attack on the American people and the very first amendment rights that define us as a country.

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.

Even the founders understood the need for our Constitution to be flexible, allowing it to change over time rather than being static. So much so that the procedures for amendments were detailed in Article V of the Constitution.

Mr Siebert is well liked by many Trump administration officials & key R congressional leaders; he became the interim US attorney of Eastern Virginia in January. In May the federal judges in the district unanimously chose to keep him there.
Still, Trump said Ms James was “very guilty of something."
