The Court is using nationwide injunctions as the tail, wagging the dog, to take us back to an Antebellum view of citizenship.
That way led to war once.

Protests have sprung up in response to Jeff Bezos and Lauren SΓ‘nchez's Venice wedding, including a variety of life-size mannequins placed throughout the city.
The satirical project is protesting the billionaire's wedding as a symbol of unchecked wealth inequality. wapo.st/3I1z8hU
I really do think this might be the worst Supreme Court of all time, which is saying something for an institution that coexisted with slavery
These motherfuckers are even worse imo bc they are *also* out here using antebellum reasoning and pursuing antebellum goals but well post bellum!
if constitutional rights only apply to individuals or states that have sued for relief, you don't actually have constitutional _rights_, you have _privileges_ that can sometimes (but not always) be secured for you by your lawyer

If voters are not responsible for their decisions, that's an argument against having elections at all.
