That show was rad too. I actually landed the Pizza Cats gig cause I was pitching another book and said, "it has the aesthetic of Samurai Pizza Cats" not realizing they were in the process of looking for a writer on the series.

We focus on the NA version...in the tone anyways. Narration breaking the fourth wall, a lot of gags and silliness.

But it directly builds directly off original concepts that were only SLIGHTLY introduced...

If you watch The Big Comet Caper 1&2...there's some stuff there I gravitated towards.

I tied in a bunch of lore that was revealed in the the finale. Like the stuff with the Great Warrior Spirit and the Supreme Catatonic...they let us do some cool stuff with it, man.

I will be making a few posts on IG...but some of the big reveals will be under wraps for a while.

It's been a ride!

I got one e-mail explaining the lore of Little Tokyo and its citizens. It was some of the ORIGINAL bible notes for the show. I got a tad emotional!

A few weeks ago it was announced I was writing the revival of The Samurai Pizza Cats from @nakamapress.bsky.social ! I've been lucky enough to work with the original series creator too, and it's a rad feeling seeing his feedback on my scripts!
