Could you cease using bad AI-generated artworks, please? The sexy ones with Doku's armour sets were really nice, the new ones are... So desperate looking.

As much as I have years of emotional attachment to Cobalt, for example, I will never use the Cobalt veteran banner because it's so soulless.

We're patient. We can wait. Again.

I will say it LOOKS really weird, but its got that kind of depth and 'war simulation' teamwork thing that PS1 had going on. Just the camera angle is strange to most people. I avoided playing it for a couple of years cos of that, but quickly got used to it when I started.

Despite it's age, Planetside 2 is still giving some epic fights, but the learning curve is so fucking steep. If anyone wants a hand up it, now is a great time!

If you're looking for something like PS1, maybe try foxhole (If you haven't already). It's more of the same vibe.

Unironically still one of the best times in human history.

This isn't said in support of ANY of the shit that's happening, just to point out how absolutely fucking awful most of the last 10'000 years has been.

In case anyone is tempted to give up - This is a blip; things generally get better >

Anyway, sorry for the rant and feel free to disagree with any of this. It's not nice to think about, but you said you didn't know much about it so I thought some explanation of why it was challenging would help.

We have a network of friends on all continents. Ghana and Kenya in Africa, Japan, South Korea and of course the Ozzies and Kiwis in APAC, Guyana in Latin America, and others, but they're scattered and under constant targeting by our adversaries

The world is pretty dark right now

I appreciate your point, but let's be honest, Ireland only gets away with neutrality because of Britain's history with it. If it weren't next to a guilty feeling larger neighbour, it would likely have fallen victim to some form of hybrid warfare by now.

Historically, neutrality without an eye-watering investment in armed forces is a 'please invade here' sign. It will always be cheaper for three countries to all protect each other than for one to protect itself.

Maybe the human race will improve, and that will change, but I won't hold my breath.

Stalin had to at least do fucking show trials.

I can think of no better way to cripple the US military than letting Trump fire whoever he wants. I mean, we remember the Talvisota, right? That's what happens when you politically purge your officers.
