NJ lawmakers introduce the FUCK ICE Act.

The bill "permits civil action for violations of US Constitution related to immigration enforcement."

It really pays to remind ourselves frequently that this whole immigration "crisis" is made up out of whole cloth. There was no emergency, danger or problem, only a demagogue stirring up racist grievances for political advantage.

AIPAC might have just inadvertently and single handedly tanked a pro Israel candidate and sent a woman to Congress who says Palestine is the victim of a genocide

LEAD CHANGE: Mejia, the Bernie/AOC-endorsed candidate, is now ahead of Malinowski.

And she’s been dominating Election Day ballots, so something would have to change for Malinowski to take it back.

The Republican position now appears to be that you have a constitutional right to openly carry a gun in public, unless you do so while expressing a view that the government dislikes, in which case the secret police can shoot you to death on the spot.

ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

Twin cities resident here. Why is the NY Times using their resources to interview and write this article where rural people are bashing the Twin Cities. We are under invasion by ice agents. There was another shooting last night. People are getting dragged out of their houses. US citizens are being detained. They are pulling people over indiscriminately just because they look a certain way. There is so much bad stuff happening and the news is not even capturing the full extent. Please spend more resources covering this. Not interviewing people who do not understand what is happening. What is happening here is terrifying and needs to be the front page of every newspaper. National news does not seem to be getting it. All NY Times resources in Mn need to be spent on documenting the brutal behavior of the Feds. People need to understand what could be coming to them.

Here in the Twin Cities I feel like we have been completely abandoned by government. Local governments are unable to stop the brutalisation of their residents. It is traumatic and it is institutional betrayal.

Read your comment section, NYT.

this is wildly illegal and the courts will rule it such, but congressional democrats should be thinking long and hard about the terms under which they will agree to continue funding this government

Catholic Vice President Vance takes to social media to justify killing of Renee Good After the tragic shooting of Renee Good at the hands of ICE, the Catholic vice president of the United States took to social media to justify the killing.

Editorial in the National Catholic Reporter: "The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel."

This is what every district should be doing, starting with NJ, not least bc by stripping the makebelieve US Attorney, you increase Todd Blanche's legal exposure for the bullshit still going on, most notably in the LaMonica McIver case.
