After seeing Frankenstein
last week I left the theater with the artistic joy and spark that you sometimes feel at the bottom of your sternum.

I went home and sketched these from imagination, dreams and aspirations. something I haven’t done in a while. So thank you @realgdt.bsky.social

In an era of strife, of tech trying to insidiously take away our love and wonder for the arts, this film—a masterclass of human artistry— reminds us that stories, arts and craftsmanship can soothe, heal and motivate the human soul.

Frankenstein was the fuel I did not know I desperately needed. Inspiring, hopeful and loving of the many brilliant crafts that went to passionately make this movie.

It's a moody night!

A mass of digital pen drawings, layered together.
