Breaking my mini hiatus to say Happy Nameday to Onyx 🌼

Onyx's nameday next week already... will have to take something special 🥰 A day where Ame has to be extra nice to him LOL

For Ame, it was when he nearly lost his life saving Onyx that he was like yeah these feelings are probably pretty deep - he associates sacrifice with love since a lot of people had died protecting him so he grew up doing the same for those he loves deeply.

For Onyx , I can go as far back as their first meeting but I think the real 'i have feelings' moment was when they were camping under the stars one night and Onyx opened up about losing his mother which was something Ame could relate to.

Onyx is usually the big spoon! However, Ame has occasionally big spooned that big cat.

And yes!

Physically, Onyx was drawn to Ame’s overall beauty but his strength/resilience and the soft caring part he rarely showed was the golden ticket ☺️ for Ame, it was Onyx’s kindheartedness and his earnest nature which he finds cute - physically, Ame has a thing for dark hair and light eyes too

Biggest obstacle is their differences in life experiences and outlook on life - Ame is very realistic and grounded while Onyx is idealistic and sometimes naive which create disagreements and misunderstandings. Ame is also the worst communicator in the world and avoidant which doesn’t help 🤡

Oo a good one! Onyx mostly fought his feelings by suppressing them while Ame ignored them due to inexperience and aversion to love and dating. He knew he was attracted to Onyx and wanted something sexual but Onyx couldn’t get there without the love first 😔
