Also the church has a nectar cellar! I channelled my inner World Adventures building this—I just wish we had hidden doors like in WA, I would have loved to build a whole secret catacomb system underneath. Right pic is the main interior of the church. The lot is on the gallery if you wanna grab it!

The photo bug got me. Luckily I wasn't too invested in those pictures because I knew it was going around. I wonder if it had something to do with me messing around in manage worlds while my sims were on vacation in Selvadorada..

I find the countryside area in Innisgreen exceptionally boring so I've planned a bunch of builds for it, first of which is this small parish church! I've zoned it as a community space and will probably use it for different community events and meetings (and funerals ofc).

Honestly yes, the timing is terrible. Although I know it wasn't intentional because the staff didn't know about the Saudi buyout but damn, and the colonial undertones are definitely there. I don't understand how they didn't catch this. Unless it's a dog whistle or something 🥲

To be fair Tybalt was always going to usurp the throne, it was just a matter of getting rid of his sisters. Juliette was obviously a traitor and I'm guessing Hermia's crime was being her accomplice? Or maybe she ran away from her mad family, I wouldn't blame her.

True, it really was massive! 3 full sized worlds with a huge number of quests and tombs. This would be like 5 separate packs by Sims 4 standards 😅 I played WA a lot, and still never managed to finish it. That was months of gameplay!

WA was goated. I don't think they could ever recreate the magic of WA in the Sims 4 tbh. The quest system they could improve upon, but the worlds are just too small.

Yeah, I get that it's not special enough if you can just become a noble from your phone lol. But I know that having played with noble sims a long long time ago, it was sooo boring not being able to give them a job and something to work towards. I enjoy the grind haha

I also thought it was odd initially but when you play with sims who are supposed to be nobility, they kinda end up with nothing appropriate to do in the game besides socializing and skilling and it gets boring fast. So this was actually a clever choice imo

I would have loved it if they did 3 distinct neighbourhoods based on different parts of the whole african continent tbh. One city neighbourhood, and 2 more nature based neighbourhoods that span the different climates across the continent. I'd want them to be visually distinct though.
