That's why we're getting old Sims games as re-releases and that's why there won't be a Sims 5. Ever. I really think this franchise will die with TS4. They won't keep up with the bug fixes either, there's no evidence that they're investing into QA. All they do is lie.

Honestly everything that's happening to The Sims franchise rn is just reflective of the wider corporate trend of enshittifying everything. They don't have a vision for a Sims universe of games, they just want to squeeze as much money from the player base while investing as little as possible.

Yeah I know there's ways to make it OP, I was mainly trying to see which businesses can be profitable and a bit more realistic. Like most bars irl will earn just by selling drinks, but in game that alone won't keep your sims business afloat iykwim

The block is better (for now), it puts pressure on the government to revoke the law. Compliance like what bsky did is worse because it tells the government that the industry is okay with it and won't be affected financially.

I think you'd have to charge for entry (which I didn't want to do, for realism) and even then my understanding is that you don't earn much from the ticket kiosk either 🤔

I guess it's small business, not big business afterall.. That will come in the next pack 🤣

Another thing that bugs me about B&H. Each sim can only own 1 type of business. You can't have Nancy own everything in Oasis Springs, unless it's a chain of Rattlesnake Juice Bars. Or you're constantly switching between presets. It's so weird, why did they make it so weird?? 😩

Tbh blocking access completely instead of complying like bsky did is the better solution for now. It should put pressure on the gov to revoke the stupid law that's endangering people.
