Oh, is that the challenge?

Not a 'bubble,' but maybe an 'air pocket': Wall Street says it's time to reset the AI narrative Two of Wall Street’s biggest firms say the AI boom isn’t a bubble, arguing real spending and earnings support the stock market rally even as near-term risks emerge.

When the biggest players find themselves reinventing the rationale for the exorbitant run rate, on an almost weekly basis, you might want to start unwinding your position.

Once again I am calling on @postopinions.bsky.social to byline the editorials ascribed to the editorial board, because readers should be able to make fun of the specific person who wrote this dogshit and thought it was smart www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

I’d like to solve the puzzle:

The reason Rs didn't vote to convict Trump after 1/6 was out of fear that Trump diehards would split the party.

The best thing that could happen on that front is Trump-only voters staying home for the midterms and the fear over splitting the party abating, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

This will be the sixth cycle in a row where the GOP is dependent on low-propensity, disengaged voters. There's some real hoisted on your own petard potential here.

Also, Costco gets great rates because it has enough employees to enjoy actual bargaining power. It has nothing to do with state lines.

Selling across state lines is a complete scam absent federal regulations that address the participating provider issue.

Absent both Alito and Thomas retiring, there will need to be 15 seats on SCOTUS.

This. There's no judicial philosophy underpinning any of it, only Barrett occasionally deciding the majority's new precedent goes too far in a concurring opinion.

Trump sent an angry mob to sack the Capitol with every single Senator inside the Capitol. They still couldn't get to 67 votes.

One of the consequences of abysmal approval ratings is that other ambitious men feel free to challenge a JD Vance coronation.

If Trump departs his mortal coil tomorrow, Vance will have most of them clearing out their desks by the end of the week. I suspect that there's a part of Trump that doesn't want to spend his remaining time as an unpopular POTUS and would welcome a resignation for blanket pardon deal.

Every member of the clown car that is Trump's cabinet has peaked and they absolutely know it.

And by peaked, I don't mean a nornal step down. It's going to be like falling off a cliff for most of them.

My observation is more about people like Cuban, Barro, and McCardle who have clearly soured on what the GOP has become, but want the D base to agree to completely remake the party in order to come over. It's neither a net gain for the D party, or a reasonable ask.
