Excited but nervous for another Zoom-hosted writing workshop this week

I needed this pep talk, because I went through like 8 rounds of editing and revisions on Book 1, but Book 2 felt so much tighter, and I knew where the story was headed and all the things I needed to do. Book 2 feels like a darn good draft!

For instance, when he meets a new person, he usually thinks they look like Iggy Pop, Fat Mike from NOFX, the drummer from Dead Kennedys, etc.

This is book 1 specifically, but book 2 goes very similar.

I have found family themes (both literal and non-literal) and wormhole transport to some extent. Great minds think alike!

What's crazy is, our stories are probably wildly different! That's what's so amazing about books.
