I’ve watched three films on this flight. Tron Aries was nonsense, no idea what that was on about. Long Walk was great. And I watched Superman again, which still has some really fantastic moments in it. Well done, films!

Thinking more about the MOTU trailer, it does irk me a little that fantasy films think they have to root themselves in the real world for people to connect. Just set the whole film in Eternia, that would be super fun, none of this ‘working in an office’ nonsense. Eh. I’m going to love it regardless.

I watched Spinal Tap 2 and tbh quite enjoyed it, there were a few great jokes in there. I think maybe it helped that I’d always just liked the original, rather than loved it, so there was no expectations here.
