PI shows were gone for a long time - finally back, but a long wait since the 80's. One of my faves, Remington Steele, is available on Hallmark+, but for some reason they don't have the final six episode season?? Do you have a fave 80's PI show? www.hallmarkplus.com/details/TV_S... #tvsky
Very minimal ingredients, like you would make at home if you weren't lazy. Chocolate chip banana bread, cherry chocolate chip, and sugar cookie are some of the 12 flavors. The link goes to their choose-your-own 12 count box. Get a free starter kit (includes a mason jar!) when you choose autoship. 😋
Josh Groban just joined Bluesky! @joshgroban.bsky.social This is not off-topic becuz I loved The Good Cop on @netflix.com. If you are uber talented in one thing (singing) you should not have any other talents.
I am an Acorn TV fan (is it becuz I love squirrels?) and adding this one to my TBW. Is TBW a thing? Like TBR? It says 'teaser' but seems like a trailer to me. #tvsky
Loungewear and everyday essentials. They're not GOTS certified but might as well be. 100% sourced from and made in the US. They use colorgrown cottons or natural dyes, and their black is non-toxic dye. #sustainable #ecofriendly
Head Cases is in my TBR, glad to hear it's good. The covers are awesome and I look forward to new books in the series just for that.
Great techniques/tools on Canva unearthed by Tabitha Emma. Some of them are only on the paid plan. #webdesign
Inkshares is a crowdfunding/publishing site for books. @mattfarley.bsky.social book The Last Beacon is there, described as True Detective meets The X-Files. 3 sample chapters, and they read like something you'd pick up at a bookstore. Coming in August! #tvsky
I recommend it, not one of my favorites but worth reading. Good climactic ending. It's #1 in a series.
Dave Gurney, retired NYPD homicide investigator, matches wits with a seemingly clairvoyant serial killer. Sends letters to future victims asking them to pick a number, always knowing what they chose. And their secrets. Bookshop. org ebook affiliate link: bookshop.org/a/109872/978... #booksky

They do set the mood/vibes. My Kindle skips to the title page and I always have to scroll back to the cover in annoyance. Doesn't Kindle know it's one of the best parts?
A long page of great book covers from one artist. Huge variety too, you would not guess they're from the same person. She's worked for most of the major publishers. If yous a book cover lovah you'll enjoy this peruse. #booksky
'I Want To Believe' - that should be Mulder from The X-Files. I don't know if he was ever in a snowstorm though. March is 100% spring, those high piles of white stuff are pollen and floof from trees.
Ah, takes me back to when I mostly used notebooks and sometimes wrote in the dark assuming it would be legible later (it was, just very slanted). My fingers retired from writing after a while, still have a spot on my right middle finger, thankfully I had more keyboard time at that point.
Ooh, Supernatural Monopoly. Never seen that.
Just read the description on Goodreads. Multiple things I love in one - London, PI, sci-fi in the real world, underground setting. Added to my TBR.
Beautiful cover! #booksky
Love me some P.I. It does seem to be a trend - coming back by the dozen. The 80's was maybe the last time the P.I. genre was popular? Normally very wary/weary of NBC, but he's a good actor (not just a pretty face) and the other people involved sound like they'll know what they're doing. #tvsky
Seems like adaptations are more likely to be good? Maybe becuz they come from something that's already been popular, ie good. I'm watching Lazarus from @harlencoben.bsky.social (no spoilers!) and it's a good'un. Do you have a fave adaptation? Or one that was dissapointing? #tvsky #booksky
Breaking news: I have decided to add fat squirrels to my topics list, but will post them only here and there. I made a small collage of some finds. The middle fella won biggest plumpy at Colorado State University's 2025 Fat Squirrel Week: warnercnr.source.colostate.edu/2025-fat-squ... #squirrels
Just finished this, loved it, but I'm a fan of Bertie Carvel. Even if not a fan still a great watch. Action throughout, great acting, detailed beautiful visuals, some humor. Based on the book by Susanna Clarke. Streaming free on @primevideo.bsky.social

I wish I had read this article sooner. 🤪 The paid version of Canva lets you resize, but here's how you can work around that without forkin it over. #webdesign
Wow, amazing cast and it lasted 3 episodes? CBS was trigger happy back then.
