Hey BlueSky! Long time no post :( Excited for 2024! So many projects coming up and can't wait to share here... the good and the bad 🤪

I got a rejection for something I forgot submitting to. After that news set in, I'm sad I didn't get in. Sigh. Keep writing. #playwrightLife

It's too easy for me to self-diagnose myself with ADHD. I just think I have really really really really short a attention span... SQUIRREL!

I had a table read yesterday with a full cast in real life! I honestly forgot what that felt like.

Mentally, I was really apprehensive about re-opening up a fb acct. It didn't hit me until I started re-requesting people to be a friend there that I remembered how hard it was to see so many people doing well/being happy when I wasn't. Yay, depression. I think I'll be better this time around. Maybe?

Wow! I just had this situation come up. In my outline, I had Police Chief says this... but when it came time to write the script, I instinctually gave the Chief a name (Chief Sullivan) and their voice, character, and mannerisms spilled onto the Final Draft screen. Have fun!

Revisiting a 10 that quite a few people say they could see the full-length version... but I can't see it. Hmmm...

Looking at my former college grades to study business made me appreciate art school more. It gave me a work ethic by working my ass off while being creative then propelled me into grad school to study playwriting. Gives me hope in knowing I can get better w/ time. Never Give Up!

Good Grief! I ordered transcripts from an old college and wow! I was a TERRIBLE student back then :( GPA: 2.634. More indicative that I wasn't cut out for that school or life back then. Luckily, I transferred to an art school and graduated w/ 3.66 GPA and then Grad School w/ 4.0 GPA.

i could go for some "dog who just wants to chill" energy right now.

Remembering the time of being in a parking lot going into a rehearsal telling myself, "THIS SUCKS! AND AFTER THIS I QUIT! I'M DONE WITH BEING A PLAYWRIGHT! WHY AM I PRODUCING THIS!? I'LL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!!!" And here I am 13 years later about to do it all over again. lol.

Ran 3 miles this am but feels more like a dream now. View these runs as more of a self therapy session so I've been forgetting the physical part.

Listening to Jo Koy on the Fly on the Wall podcast and the part where he says that when meeting celebrities, he doesn't just want to meet them as a fan, but that he could meet them as a fellow artist, hustler, and doer is EXACTLY how I feel!

Writing an email to a couple of friends helping out with a reading I'm having next month. My heads already jumping towards self-producing it and I'm shaking my head asking myself, "Are you really doing this?" Do what I gotta do!

I "daydreamed a dream" for an idea of a one-person musical based on Les Mis's Eponine. No plot yet. Was talking to a singer friend who talked about doing a one-person play and then asked her if she'd do a one-person musical... and Eponine popped in my head.

Note to self research different cultural myths of Good/Bad : Yin/Yan : Skol/Hati. Hopefully for a new play?

I am so pumped for The Traitors US Season 2!!! The cast list is so Bonkers! Only one disappointment, but good with the rest of them, even though I don't know all. Only have time for the CBS Reality Players. Rest of the time, I'm trying to WRITE! LOL.

I laughed when I saw a news article about Pickleball injuries! 😔 But then after playing it for several weeks, I started getting Achilles Tendonitis. Mostly feel it in both legs walking down steps... but not when I'm running! Gonna strengthen them and hit the courts again. #pickleball

I've built up such a cool playwriting/theatre community on the other thing. Makes me wonder how long it'll take to do the same here. 🤞
