We are getting him probiotic snacks. He also can no longer have people grade tuna juice from a can. I used to think occasional treat from no salt Trader Joes tuna was safe enough for him to drink, but I forgot all about the mercury! Some cats are more sensitive to this and can’t quickly process it.
Pippin update~ happy to report he seems to be pain-free and eating/drinking properly. And thankfully no pain or strains in the box today! Still waiting for the urine sample report. He was prescribed a change of diet for UTI sensitive cats. Also no more junky snacks. Thank you all so much!

Not how we wanted to spend a Saturday night. In vet ER tonight because our boy, Pippin was showing signs of pain and trouble urinating. It came on suddenly poor guy… I’m worried it’s a kidney stone or UTI. Waiting for the test results!
