haven’t been active much in my fandom accounts lately. the real world feels awful and scary and ice is directly affecting my community. ghe immigrant youth i work with are disappearing, some by ice, some in hiding in fear. ice murdering people protecting their communities. it’s a lot.

worst week of work in my life

working in a school with a high immigrant population rn is hell. broke down crying at my desk this week more times than i’d like to admit. a dear student called me from jail crying, just a few hours before he was transferred to an ice detention center. i’ll never forget that call. fuck ice
