At least the forceful rest period has Lumi interacting with Mancha daily, good to work on the cat tolerance.

Mancha however is not in the least thrilled about this arrangement.

It be like that sadly. She's a sweetie and terribly smart to boot, it's mostly the constant attention, hyperactive bouts and two walks a day that throw my schedule massively off.

And for anyone who cares, her temporary name is Lumi.

The original plan was to set her up for adoption locally, but my brother (who's a US citizen) showed interest in adopting her or, if unable, take her to the US to find her a suitable family.

He's still undecided tho, so if anyone's interested I'll keep you updated.

I've kept quiet about this beasty bc challenging would be an understatement to what she's put me through.

Unfortunately she'll be rehomed with people who can fulfill her energetic needs (might be sent to the US-Cali area for such purpose in fact.)

Tomorrow is spay day, wish her good luck.

Better safe than sorry. My other cat has learned not to lick anything I put on her neck, Mancha ain’t as bright yet.

Foolish me thinking she would learn not to lick it after the first try, but here we are, three attempts later and a floor full of cat spit.

If it’s worth mentioning, each day I’m more convinced she was a home dog. She’s potty trained, there’s vague notion of commands and she adapted well with a leash.

Unfortunately there’s no collar, no chip ID, no lost dog posters or posts in local groups, which leads us to believe she was abandoned.
