I remember one called Bills secret garden from when the games first game out. Teal or blue background and it was tips and tricks for the games.

The thing that finally broke me of that was spending 3 days trying to get my N64 to work properly on a tv.

That right there has made me strongly consider going digital only.

Personally I’ve always wanted to write a story where major outcomes are decided by d20 rolls.

Try rolling some dice like in dnd. Make up what stats you want to focus and and roll 3d6 to see what kind of character you get.

I just finished my first play through of XY last night. I’d say is a Pokemon game , just extremely tuned down. I felt for most of the game whatever Pokemon happened to be at the front of my party was able to solo whoever I was fighting.
