When Destiny was in pre-launch phase, there was a lot of talk from Bungie about how Destiny was the next big franchise to go on shelves with Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc. I think when anyone makes those calls before the product has even hit the public, you know it's never going to attain that.

That and so many things being done by committee or compromising authenticity and vision to try and be everything to everybody, which ultimately fails. And then the whole capitalist side where everything must be a long form franchise.

Now I wanna play Prototype. Love asymmetry.

Remember taste is pattern recognition dependent on your own experiences and wiring. The older I get the more I see people just performijg or tolerating things to be part of it. I see it a lot in my hobbies.

Trust and embrace your authenticity. There's no score.

Flipping through some old sketchbooks from the past 2.5 years and there are some recurring themes.

No order to this except this end of the colour wheel, but the left is two years old from Year One.

It is interesting that with Wanda, No More Mutants is functionally genocide because she wiped out a people, their culture, and their future. And yet it wasn't intentional, and more out of grief than ideological, in which case of all characters in the universe she did do it, but isn't pro.
