Rays of emptiness pierce my shell,
shattered mirrors burst in the dust.
Your fingers drip night
cupping them—
crystals burrow deep inside.
The fog is drowning now,
as your mouth splits mine.
Darkness quivers,
we swallow the light.

The rain creeps in
soft
an afterthought
weaving silver thru wind
It pools where our steps faded
small mirrors
trembling in gravel
Each drop
a hush
sky’s quiet collapse—
tiny hearts folding
inward
You tilt ur head
& I hear love—
a pulse
against water
stumbling
then finding rhythm

Ur voice breaks—
dawn
heliacal
a light wound
marring sleep
My bones hum
stars dim in marrow-dark

a frost flute
sings my undoing
thru the orchard of my ribs
I taste ur color—

for the blade
of ur touch

honey-thick

I feel his touch
