Welp. That sucked. Don’t have much words other than I despise this format. Game aggressively said no today. Rng will bounce back sometime. Team invites rng but only team I have remotely enjoyed this format. Just got to work on play so I can take advantage when game behaves.

4-1! Playing some really friendly and fun people today. Fun MU vs psyspam sand, was able to switch in on a struggle bug and get a defiant boost to clear g2. One more for pts!

2-1! Good bounce back, was vs standard rain which is very comfy MU. Seeing a lot new players which is awesome to see in our community. 4 more for d2 🫡

1-1, hit worst MU imaginable and opponent played it well. Very frustrating that dozo tats is my worst MU, and it’s at like 8% and have hit it 3 times in 11 rounds. Best vgc skill is not hitting your bad MUs. Hope for better ones going forward.

Goal this season is to maintain a positive mindset throughout regardless of what happens. There will always be ups and downs to rng, but incredibly lucky and thankful to be able to travel and play the game! Here’s to hoping today goes well!

Finished 85th in the GC (as of 20 min left)! Bittersweet as I was 40th with 6 games left but had some tough MUs vs great players and some bad luck.

Finished D1 last night at 12-3. Goal is t8 so got work to do the coming days. Few silly mistakes from my end costing a game or two. Favorable rng so far so hope sneasler sleep gods continue to bless me 🙏

4 games in the GC, and dire claw has just instantly won me 2 games by being dire claw and causing sleeps lmao. This meta is so stupid. Even wins feel unearned and hollow at times

I’m hoping I have a team for Pittsburgh. If not I’m not going to force it. I intensely dislike this format and if I can’t make it fun or play something I enjoy I just won’t show up 🤷 game is a hobby. Never force yourself to play or you just hate it even more in the long run.

Reg I was MU roulette but felt better to play at least. I’ve never played a meta where I say “well that’s fucking bullshit”so often as the meta centerpieces are inconsistent unfun messes to play vs. Better player wins less than usual which is ass. Champions can’t come soon enough

After playing Reg H again, I’m reminded why it’s one of my least fav metas I’ve ever played it. Constantly makes you feel cheated a lot of rng with scale shot (crits 4v5 hits), inaccurate moves, and worst of all dire claw. Of all metas to go back to why this 😭

Worlds is special. To all that are going for their first time, or 10th time, I hope you appreciate it. Worlds was the highlight of my career and the most fun I’ve ever had competing. There’s nothing like facing off against the best from different regions. GL and may the best win!

Completed my challenge run through HGSS! Set battle style and only bad pokemon. Made the E4 actually quite difficult. Flareon was a goat all run. S/O Sudowoodo who KO’d all 3 lance dnite by quick claw critting them with rock slide 💀

Completed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! I love this game. One of the best games I’ve played. Compelling and very unique story with satisfying endings, Persona mixed with Paper Mario combat with good challenge. 10/10 game no notes, can’t stop talking about how awesome this game is.
