You're correct, they are incentivized to do that just as they might have been with Tony Bradley this past summer if the tax was more of a concern.

A podcast about a fun game. The Pacers certainly want to see more from their available guys still. But this game was much about the reunions and the emotions. Many notes, too.

Notable DNP-CD for Kam Jones. He has to play in 17 of the Pacers final 20 games to have his contract for next season become fully guaranteed.

Pacers get blasted by the Clippers 130-107. Siakam and Huff were the only two Pacers to shoot over 50%, but the defense remains poor post All-Star break. 7-straight losses for the Pacers. Siakam returned with 29 points, but not much else to like. Pacers 15-47.

Jarace Walker has come alive from a scoring perspective late, popping the most of this late-game group. He's up to 17 points.

It's Clippers 102, Pacers 77 after three quarters. It was a six-point game at one point in the third, then a 37-18 run for LA broke the game open again. Clippers with two 39+ point quarters this game. Siakam with 27 of the Pacers 77 points.

Bennedict Mathurin with an assists to Isaiah Jackson. Jackson with quite the run of activity here in the third quarter... and then Mathurin follows it up with an and-1. Clippers a chance to go up 30.

Pacers were within 6 but now down 12 again. Nesmith and Nembhard a combined 2/11 looms large. Both struggling on offense.

After a first half ankle injury, Micah Potter is out there warming up for the second half. Seems ok.

Pacers were down 23 at one point in the second quarter. They've trimmed it to 12 and are down 63-51 at the break. Improvements on defense late in the half, and Pascalifornia is certainly here with 19 points. Jay Huff with 10. Pacers need better defense.
