Tip 4 for streaming is niching is alright to build and audience, BUT know that when you deviate from it you lose the bulk of your viewership. It's very RARE to see a streamer with a core audience who will follow them from content type to content type.

Tip 3 for streaming on Twitch specifically is run ads for 3 minutes per hour. Condense them to one ad section. It enables you to remove rerolled ads and gives you the lion's share of ad revenue (55%). Prerolls kill raid hype, and raids are a good way to gain new viewers.

Tip 2 for content creation in general. Learn at least some BASIC image editing and video editing. DaVinci Resolve is free and incredibly easy to use for video editing. Krista, although an art program, it great for it as well. For audio recording and editing AUDACITY IS A GOD SEND!

Tip 1 for streamers is LEARN TO FILL SPACE! There will be times, especially when you are small, that you need to entertain a relaxed chat. Filling space with commentary and engaging reactions helps more than you think.

I think there is an incredible potential to help content creators and streamers here on Bluesky by compiling techniques in OBS and algorithmic understanding for each platform. Share your tips here! I'll drop some of mine. Also if there is a feed for this kind of stuff let me know!
