I loved these French Gitzos which I sold at Fox in the 80s. Just got this Reporter with ball head off eBay for £60. None of your carbon fibre rubbish at over a grand for tripod plus head. This is a bit scarred, but slides like new and will outlast me. Vintage tripod for a vintage photographer.

The Epoca was just about the weirdest looking camera I ever sold when I worked in a camera store in the '80s.
Never had a Fuji until I worked for them. My first proper camera was a Praktika LTL3 from Dixon in 1978. I’m sure the salesman had an incentive on it. A year later I was in the photo trade and owner of a Pentax MX. I really loved that camera.
