They’re a deterrent, not perfect. Buy your own? Not deadbolting or even trying to secure the door is your own problem. Chain? Nope. You have to be aware of your own surroundings. Ive had people TRY to get in many times for overbooking same room

I burn lots of ash mostly as kindling and the splitter rocks. Use gas for bigger jobs, but electric is cool, 14 ton. Worked for GM it was a sales bonus. Splurge cause it was extra, their cash so to speak
