I'm Canadian but I just can't understand why they would leave 5 circuit vacancies for Trump to fill. It's bad enough that he'll most likely replace Thomas & Alito with much younger ultra conservatives.

Inexcusable if Schumer/Durbin leave 5 circuit judges for Trump to fill. If the shoe was on the other foot rest assured that the Republicans would fill the 5 vacancies before they gave up majority control.
